Dignified and traditional, the Heritage violin bow has a commanding presence that demands attention. With classic appearance and pull, it rests comfortably in the company of W.E. Hill. Its restrained, formal presentation contradicts its full, rich tone, and though cosmetically unornamented, it delights the ear with a velvety warmth and depth. Much like a fine wine, the Heritage violin bow's versatility blends with any music and remains a comfortable choice for high-level musicians.

Natural Acoustic Core

Decades of knowledge have revealed to us that superior violin bows require more than just carbon fiber. The Natural Acoustic Core found inside the CodaBow Heritage contains a blend of organic plant fibers, creating a lush and sophisticated sound.

Unidirectional Carbon Fiber

The CodaBow Heritage violin bow incorporates advanced unidirectional carbon fiber, which extends continuously from the button to the tip on both sides of the shaft. This thoughtful design enables the player's fingertips to perceive the bow's full-length dynamics and response like never before, mirroring the grain structure of the finest Pernambuco bows.

Lifetime Technology

All components on the Heritage that are susceptible to wear and tear (such as the tip wedge, tip plate, and button bearings) are expertly engineered using the best composite materials in the industry so you can play with your violin bow for years and years.

Xebony® Frog Solution

Xebony® is our response to the world's endangered supply of instrument-grade ebony. This exclusive combination of organic fibers and resin results in a natural grain and rich shine. Stronger and more durable than real ebony, Xebony® offers peace of mind while helping save endangered resources.

Designed with a Global Mind

The GlobalBow® designation ensures that the Heritage violin bow was not made with any regulated, endangered, or monitored species (fauna or wildlife), so you can take it through international Customs without trouble.

Incredible playability and tone

I am a higher-intermediate level violinist and play classical repertoire. I find that the Marquise Heritage feels so comfortable in my hand, and it produces the most beautiful tone on my violin with very little effort (compared to the Diamond GX). Spiccato and other off-the-string strokes are also so much easier to do with good tone. I also compared it with several wood bows and the tone was similar and with superior playability. Compared with the Diamond GX, it was very clearly a better bow for me and well worth the higher price tag.

Old violins--new bow

I have been playing my current violin since 1959. It has never sounded as good as is does now with my Heritage bow. This bow also significantly improves the sound of my #2 violin which I usually play amplified with a pickup. The new bow gives both instruments a sound I would describe as smoother and fuller.

Velvet in my hand

I have played for over 30 years and love this bow! I recently had to emergency-replace the bow I've used for over 2 decades and was hesitant to consider a carbon fiber. Understanding technology has developed, I had 5 shipped to my home to try. This was velvet. Perfectly balanced, warm tone with my violin, yet responds well to my fast, harsh bowing. I play classical in an orchestra as well as loud stage music connected to In-ears and large sound system. It has to do it all and this one does! Blew the 5 wooden bows out of the water. Looks classy, traditional, minimalistic, yet has a beautiful sheen to the stick.
