bought a previous ES through Robertson's in Albuquerque and was very pleased so wanted a second for my other violin and case. NO COMPARISON!!!! Lacked complexity of sound like the Escent I bought from you, hair 1/2 to 2/3 as full, silver binding irregular, etc. I can understand you sending the good stuff to one of the name shops in the US, but didn't expect a cull.
I love playing with this bow. Feels great when playing, very responsive, light and sounds great too! I play in a very active country rock band and it works well even in humid outdoor venues. This is my 4th coda bow. I’m hooked!
Love this iw. An interesting contrst to my wooden bows
I recently purchased the Diamond NX carbon fiber bow and have been impressed by its quality and responsiveness. As a beginner, though, I feel that the Prodigy might be a better fit for my current skill level, as I prefer a stiffer bow. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my choice and confident that with practice, I'll eventually gain the control needed to fully utilize the NX.
I recently purchased my grandson a $500 Coda Bow. It bows very similar to my second wooden bow that I use. My second wooden bow is valued at $500. It is nice for my 12-year-old grandchild that this bow is much less likely to be broken. This bow came with the fullest amount of horsehair that I have seen on a cello bow.
One bow hair was broken upon item arrival, which is a bit disappointing for a brand new bow although it doesn’t impact it’s performance.
