I wanted a bow that I could customize a little to my specs. So I ordered a Luma Chroma Custom violin bow. It is nicely balanced and on the lighter side as far a weight. I ordered it in the Sapphire metallic color with a custom shaped frog and grip wrap. Also my name monogramed under the frog. Very happy with the way it was built and it plays nicely and sounds great with all my fiddles. I play Bluegrass, Old Time and Celtic fiddle and it sounds wonderful in all these genres. I chose the Luma after a 5 bow home trial that worked out perfect with trying Coda's different models of bows. Highly recommend the home trial if you are in the market for a new bow. Very easy transaction.
